Book Photo Challenge | June 5th | Book in a Bag
Book Pickup #1
- So I’ve decided to name small ‘book hauls’ when I only pick up 1-3 books a book pick-up, because I don’t usually buy a whole bunch of books at one time. So this is my new thing :)
So today while shopping at Sam’s Club, after shopping with my mom, I wandered into the book section just to look and once I saw Looking for Alaska and Hollow City, I picked them up and was gone. I already read Looking for Alaska but it is my favorite John Green book and I needed to own a copy. And I’ve been anticipating Hollow City ever since I knew there was going to be a sequel to Miss Peregrine’s Home. I’m really happy with this pick up and can’t wait to read both books!
Recently I hit 200 followers so I figured hey, why not have a giveaway?
- You don’t have to be following me, but that would be pretty cool
- There will be two winners, each will receive two books
- If you win and the books shown above don’t suit you, you can choose from my library here
- You have 48 hrs to respond and feel comfortable to give me you mailing address
- 1 reblog counts as two entries, like counts as one entry. You CAN reblog more than once
- The giveaway ends June 1st

I began to read near the middle of the month again after having a bad reading slump this year. I’m glad I’m reading actively again. So here we go for what I’ve read this month.
May Wrap Up:
It’s Not You, It’s Me - Kerry Cohen Hoffman
The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Blood+ (Blood+ #1) - Asuka Katsura
Maoh: Juvenile Remix (Maoh: Juvenile Remix #1) - Kotaro Isaka
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Harry Potter #1) - J.K. Rowling
Why We Broke Up - Daniel Handler
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter #2) - J.K. Rowling
Stolen: A Letter to my Captor - Lucy Christopher
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter #3) - J.K. Rowling
Everything is Illuminated - Jonathan Safran Foer
The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
Frankenstein - Mary Shelley
The Diviners - Libby Bray
Les Miserables - Victor Hugo (continue after its abandonment)
Before I Fall - Lauren Oliver
Will Grayson, Will Grayson - John Green & David Levithan
Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter #4) - J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter #5) - J.K. Rowling
Looking at my TBR, I do believe I can read all of them since I’m finishing high school and there will be a lot of time where I’m not in school for the next month so that means more time to read hopefully. Also, I hope I can finish those three classics because classics are honestly daunting for me. Especially Les Mis which is huge but I’ve got about 200 pages left so I hope to finish that because I’m actually in love with that book. Here I come, June!
